Old Friends

I'll get back to the camping holiday later, but for now I just thought I'd share a photo from this Saturday, of me and my two best friends from university. To left of me is Sarah, to right of me Suzanne (whose 25th birthday it was). We were all engineers together, and spent much time in lectures, labs, tutorials and last minute oh-crap-we-have-an-exam-in-two-hours, how-do-you-do-question-3-in-the-2002-paper? phone conversations.

But not just that, we also have years of history of the silly stuff. Oh, a million things, but to list a few...with Sarah, sleepy lectures, cycling up St Aldates together to lectures too early in the morning, mashing potatoes in mugs with forks, teaspoon-sharing....with Suz, football, bitchy songs, phoning each other when it rained, "I love being...me!"...and with both of them plus Hazel, the other engineer who completed the four of us as a group...oh, almost all my university memories. Balls and formal dinners and bops and the bar and the PT and cheesy music and hot ribena and chips & cheese and birthday pancakes and monging and...

Yeah. You get the idea.

I miss them.
