This is an ex-potential. It has ceased to be.

Only kidding.

Everything is in pretty much the same place it was in this morning, in case anyone is trying to match them up...although why you would...well, anyway, they are.

In my living room: birthday tulips and Remains of the Cake. (Cake is from the weekend - I didn't eat all of that just now.)

And for Kepp - quite shiny, yes. Also incredibly neat.

Birthday nearly over. All round, a good one, I think.

Mmm... lovely-looking cake.

And surely a socket tool set is every engineer's secret fetish?

Her mum helped her with the cake over the weekend.

Not that I know everything that happens in skit's life...

is there something wrong with eating half a cake by ourself over the course of a weekend?

*whistles*

looks like you got a nice birthday loot. I myself had to wait until I was in my 30s to get a tool set as a pressie. You lucky girl.

I asked for a torque spanner for my birthday. They assumed I was joking...

I am amazed you know what a spanner does...

But yes, every girl needs a socket tool kit. Actually, I am rather happy with that especially since I lost my cross-head screwdriver a few weeks ago. It was from my uncle, who is a car mechanic, so it was also a rather apt present.

None of the other presents interest anyone? Not the pretty bag, not the tiny toy squirrel, not the oh-so-hysterical amazon package? Pfft. Creatures of one-track minds, ye are. Socket tool. *watches everybody's attentions snag*

I was interested in the oh-so-hysterical amazon package paper. Doesn't that count?

Mmmm Socket Tool....

Tool...Socket...Socket Tool...

*sniggers*

And no, clearly you don't count.

Except when it comes to counting numbers, where you're a bit better than me.

I can't count to infinity!

At 11:27 pm, Blogger skittledog said...

Yes but I can't count to zero.

Ha. True but... damn you have stumped me.

I know my squares up to 20...
