Whose woods these are I think I know

So.

Still playing.

This background was just a quick doodle to see if my idea would work at all, but I find myself rather liking it now. And I like the colour system on my puter at least.

Any complaints/suggestions/adoration?

You do doodle?

I'll go for adoration myself, it looks very nice. The colour of the links needs tweaking though to stop them blending into the background...

Doodle do indeedy.

I might just lose the links. I live nowhere interesting that other people haven't lived before me. And the previous post stuff is never used by anyone anyway...although I suppose I should leave the archives at least.

Hmm. You know, I think I like it.

Ah! Rian adores it! Keep it! Keep it! The tree is wonderful! It makes Rian thinking of Asian art and LoTR all at once.

Rian's Vote - and as Rian is the center of the Universe Rian must of course be correct - is to keep the tree background but darken the colour of the...what is it called? Center. Where posts appear.

Yes, it's a huuuge improvement. Looks excellent in IE as well.

Though my nitpicky remark would be to make the title stand out a bit more. It's too little and bland.

Oh, hah. The photo just showed up. Nice.

Myo has a complaint...

Myo wants the background.
Myo wants to be able to doodle.

Hah. It seriously was a two-second, back-of-the-envelope (literally) doodle just to see how the colours would come out.

But then, I like it too. And I'm too lazy to do another one.

little and bland
Like me...

Ooh, I love it Skit. I could almost wallpaper my house with it.

Marvellous.

And a 'Birdhouse in Your Soul' title again... so I was smiling before the background even appeared. :)

Woo! Love the picture. *grins* Look, Kepp no longer looks scared of us. Besides, it sort of makes me look popular.

Love the background. Keep it!

Oh, but maybe make the links/archives in the sidebar darker?

She never did...I was highly amused by the way she looked scared before I took the photo, but then, in it, looked like she was controlling you to do her bidding.

Camera never lies...

May play with colours etc later. If I can be bothered. But yeah - the trees are staying, for the moment at least. I like having my blog lost in the winter woods. Seems...appropriate.

Can you change the wallpaper with the seasons? Go on...

I thought it before you did...

I did.

Yeah yeah. We've heard that one before.

We really have.

If I just keep saying it over and over then, sooner or later, some gullible people might believe me.

Skittledog told me last week she was thinking of changing wallpaper with the seasons. Really.

When your page first opened to a different background and with a title I haven't gotten before, I was sure I had clicked somewhere by accident. I like it. And I like the Indeterminate Photo.

I like it. Tis very very pretty.

*points at emano* Gullible...

Ahem.

Anyway. Have played some more with the section colours (as obviously Rian, being Centre of the Universe and all, knows what she's talking about) and I rather like this having a border thing. Hmm. Chunky. I like.

I think.

But I am a weak creature and will wither and die and immediately declare it worthless if someone criticises it.

Someone not Keppet.

Border is fine ... but how about taking away the rest of the dotted lines? (do a search and destroy mission).

Just leave the solid line in the p.post-footer section.
And maybe add this in the same section:
padding-bottom:40px;

and adjust the px number to suit.
